Eco-chef Kimberly has been cooking since she was 12 when she read Rachel Carson's book Silent Spring--leaving an indelible mark on Kimberly, AKA Kim. An avid bike rider and gardner from an early age, she naturally gravitated to the environmental sciences and engineering.




Kim started cooking professionally prior to pursuing her BSc in mathematics, engineering, minoring in biology, and has been combining cooking with her understanding of biology ever since. And now equipped with a graduate degree in renewable energy engineering, she brings her direct experience and knowledge as an engineer, scientist and chef into her food preparations and lifestyle practices.

  • Former highly-trained intercollegiate athlete (rowing, running, lacrosse, soccer) & student athletic trainer
  • Practicing fitness for life via diet & exercise (yoga, bicycling, running, walking, hiking, swimming, resistance training)
  • Former fitness trainer (instructor-led circuit weight training), tri-athlete, lacrosse coach, body-builder
  • Extensive chefing & catering experience in four star restaurants & for exclusive clientele in the Baltimore, MD area, Atlanta, GA & Central Florida
