Welcome to Kimberly’s Kingdom!

Since 2006, I have stumped all the seasoned insider and outsider renewable energy (RE) HR/technical recruiter/career counselors with the following…

How does one get one’s dream job (hybrid RE engineer) in the burgeoning RE industry sans a PhD, or 5-10 years of experience in business development/project management in a respective RE technology when one’s job description does not exist?

In spite of adhering to all their wisdom, sage and advice, I still don’t have my dream job as a hybrid renewable energy engineer. Why? Well truthfully, I have come to the conclusion that this is due to the fact that a great deal is out of my control i.e. the era of tumultuous global financial insecurity, et al. Mind you, I will continue to try to implement all the advice gleaned over the years. But truth be told, I think I’m a bit ahead of the curve on all this–the RE industry still isn’t quite ready for generalists, ruimdenker and disruptive technologies, er hybrid renewable energy engineers, and for another reason I’m not quite comfortable sharing at this juncture in time.

And so, I will post my blog blats here, and perhaps, eventually formally publish my trials and tribulations one day. In the meantime, read on…
